Circa 1968, made in Japan by SH Horikawa. battery operated by 2 x D cells, walks along the arms raise up and light starts flashing behind the the red plastic chest panel, the best bit being a siren noise which varies in pitch as the arms go up and down then resumes normal walking action. Also the gauges in the chest move up and down. The siren noise is created by a fan rotating at fast speed which is varied by a metal plate passing over the fan as the arms move causing the varying noise.
Mr. Patrol is rare to find in good condition and working especially with the box. There is also a robot head version.
