Robby Space Patrol - Made in 1993 by MTH (Mikes Toy House) this is a high quality limited edition of 500 reproduction of the original by the Japanese company 'Nomura' following the 1956 release of the film 'Forbidden Planet' starring the Mechanized Robot known as Robby.

Made by KO Yoshiya in Japan 1960's. Skirted robot with bump and go action and smoke pumping from the pipe on top of head. From the Yoshiya large scale group of robot including Chief Robotman, Radical Robot, Mystery Moon Man & Mighty Robot

This door robot is missing its hands, ear guards and the Door from which it gets name amongst robot collectors, otherwise it is in full working operation

Made In Japan, this one complete with a door, hands and ear guards

This is the last version of the Alps TV Spaceman, differs from the earlier versions with larger hands, grey surround to control panel below TV screen, plastic radar antenna & plastic legs/feet and plastic battery cover

SH Horikawa Piston Head robot in action, with lighted pistons thrusting up & down. I am not sure if it is supposed to, but mine has a rotating head in an anticlockwise direction and robot turns to left to follow.

Yonezawa Mechanic Robot in action, battery operation by 2 'D' call batteries. Very smooth and reliable.

Mego Lunar Spaceman Astronaut, very similar action to SH Horikawa Attacking Martian. Also known as Mond Roboter

Also known as Happy Harry the Hysterical Robot by Straco, it has been placed on a stand to stop it moving around. Normally it would be movong with a bump & go action

Dux Astroman made in Germany, same action as Mr.Mercury

Early all metal early version with metal white painted battery compartment and brass pinion gear on motor, also wider hands. Later versions had plastic battery compartment, plastic pinion gear (which tends to break) and thinner hands

The Swivel-O-Matic robot, first introduced in 1967 as a brown coloured all metal Astronaut with human face behind visor, later versions with plastic parts and different colours, silver/red. This is the later robot head version, which is fairly rare to find and not to confused with the Attacking Martian or Rotate-O-Matic.
